How many hours is the FNP major?
The DNP with a FNP major is a 75 semester hour curriculum to prepare registered nurses to deliver primary health care to clients of all ages focusing on diverse population and health care needs.

Who is the ideal student of this program?
The program is ideal for current and future missionary nurses and others interested in underserved populations and global health.

What is the emphasis of the FNP major?
Emphasis is placed on health promotion, disease prevention, management of acute and chronic illnesses, and advanced skills. Students have the option of completing part of their required clinical hours at an international site with faculty supervision.

For the fall start date applicants should plan to complete all admission materials on or before February 1
