Partnership Housing

Below is information for the Partnership housing option available just for Nursing students. This partnership is between Baylor Health Care System and the Marquis Apartments. They are not part of Baylor University, and therefore billing is done through BHCS, not the University.

The Marquis on Gaston is the housing option offered to Nursing students. The Marquis provides students with up-to-date amenities and security at a reasonable cost. Room settings are created in a split, suite setting. A suite consists of a common living area, dinning & kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths, with two persons to a room*. Each apartment will be fully furnished, including beds, couches, TV and washer, dryer. (Personal use items such as linens, towles, pots/pans, silverware etc. are not provided)

Apartment cost is calculated on a semester fee, based on *double occupancy per person; 2 occupants per room, 4 persons to an apartment. Payment is for the entire semester, however payment arrangements may be made with BHCS Accounts Receivable. Single occupancy is available at twice the double occupancy rate and is available on a first come, first served basis. Amenitites: ALL bills are paid, including water, electricity, basic cable, trash & internet/phone. Free BHCS campus shuttle, 24/7 BHCS Police access, including escort services if needed. Dart bus & rail lines are conveniently loicated to the school & Marquis, however DART passes are not provided through the school and must be purchased independently at the DART offices, or online at Dart.org

Parking & BUMC ID ID BADGE BUMC Parking Services also requires a BUMC ID Badge. This badge is required and there is no fee for this badge, however a $25 dollar fee will be charged for lost or damaged ID's. PARKING Marquis students are encouraged to leave their cars in the aparatment parking garage and use the BUMC Shuttle bus or walk. Marquis students may also purchase a parking decal for $50 per year fee, with access to Garage 7 rooftop & Lot 47. Sutdents who purchase a decal, also have access to Lot 14 between 5:00pm & 5:00am M-F. *NOTE:Students that do not purchase a parking decal will not be allowed to park in lot 14.
Any parking violations through BUMC Parking will affect your your student account, as well as your ability to graduate.
