The open house portion of the morning will include current students who will serve as tour guides and will take you throughout the building. Be prepared to make new memories with some old friends and take some pictures home with you to commemorate the day!
Come see the wonderful research that is being done by todays nursing students and faculty. Hear about the exciting mission opportunities we offer and how you can become involved. Register for a free CEU* from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Innovations in Nursing Through Sustained Research and Scholarship. Presentation objectives will include: describing linkages between sustained programs of nursing research and innovations in patient care and nursing education; discussion of select research studies conducted by LHSON faculty with impact on patient care or education; and discussion of compelling future needs for nursing research in conjunction with the LHSON mission.

Dr. Linda Plank, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at LHSON will serve as our group tour guide of the Baylor University Medical Center downtown Dallas facility. Join us as we reminisce about the times we spent at BUMC as a student of the nursing school. Reservations to join this tour are required.

Join us for fellowship as we honor the classes of 1965, 1975 and 1985. Special presentations will include the Distinguished Alumni Award, Distinguished Recent Graduate Award and Friend of Nursing Award. Door prizes will include great Baylor items.

The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing seeks nominations for the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award. Nominees should exemplify scholarship, leadership and service as described in the following categories:
LEARN - Significantly or uniquely contributes to the nursing profession through clinical practice, education and teaching, administrative leadership, research, writing, publishing, and/or healthcare innovation.
LEAD - Demonstrates leadership in community affairs, nursing professional organizations, and in growth and development of others in these areas.
SERVE - Positively promotes and advances the nursing profession in the community through volunteering and/or outreach efforts.
The Distinguished Alumni Award will be presented at the Alumni Reunion on March 28, 2015. The deadline for receipt of nominations is February 15, 2015.
