Located in the heart of Dallas, The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) will host its fifth annual Going for the Gold Gala on Saturday, February 27, 2016, 6:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel located at 2222 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas. This inspiring event continues the tradition of spotlighting championship efforts to help raise scholarship funds for student nurses who would not otherwise be able to attend the Louise Herrington School of Nursing. Donors will also have the opportunity to support the nursing school's new building fund.

The patriotic-themed dinner on Veterans Day included 150+ distinguished guests, honored donors and their scholarship recipients.

Baylor Nursing School Participates in North Texas Giving Day
After a third straight year of shattering community giving day records, North Texas Giving Day returns for its seventh year on September 17, 2015 with more than 2,000 nonprofits including the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing, $2.2 million in bonus funds and prizes, and Donation Station events in five North Texas cities, including Arlington, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth and McKinney. Donations were made from 6 a.m. to midnight on Giving Day and LHSON raised almost $44,000 from 247 donors during the 18-hour giving day.
