The Spring 2008 "Baylor News" alluded to it and now it's LIVE! A new website has launched with expectations of becoming a unique and important communication tool for Faculty & Staff. Use this page to familiarize yourself with the site's features.

 Providing the resources you need in an easily accessible format is the goal of the new Faculty & Staff website. Its launch culminates a yearlong process. We hope you will find this site significantly improves the accessibility of essential resources for the Baylor family, providing a single-stop for electronic news, the calendar, the online directory, and links to timely information essential to faculty and staff members. You can even check Baylor's weather.

 For those of you who typically find your frequently used links on the old "Resources for Faculty and Staff" page, we've got you covered. Near the middle of the left navigation column is a link titled, "Complete List of Links". There you can find a replication of these links in their original context. The headings found on that page also form the basis of the navigational structure on the new site. Simply select the desired heading and a slide-out menu provides one-click access to virtually any faculty & staff link.

 This site completes a process that began over a year ago with the discussion of key needs and uses of information in a number of faculty and staff focus groups. Other tools such as the statistical analysis of web resource utilization and conversations with a broad cross-section of those who distribute information to faculty and staff were also used to inform the content and layout of the new site.

 Our hope is that the Faculty & Staff site becomes your homepage for Baylor news and information. Be sure to visit the Faculty & Staff site often. Future enhancements for this site will include a section for reporting research awards, mechanisms for you to contribute to the site directly, additional desktop wallpaper selections, an enhanced faculty and staff calendar, and more. It will continue to grow as new tools and resources are rolled out.
