Adam P. Ecklund, PhD
Associate Vice President for Constituent Engagement
Dr. Adam P. Ecklund joins Constituent Engagement from the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Baylor University, where he has served in various administrative capacities since 2006. He most recently was the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs within the School of Engineering and Computer Science. Adam has also taught a variety of leadership and student success courses at Baylor. His love for BU and its students is contagious. As Associate Vice President for Constituent Engagement he coordinates the direction of the Baylor Network to meaningfully engage alumni, corporations, and friends of the university. Further, Adam provides leadership to enhance and develop the extensive network of constituents.
Adam earned a B.A. in Christian Ministries and Biblical Studies from Azusa Pacific University, a M.Ed. in College Student Affairs also from Azusa Pacific, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Human Resource Studies with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration from Colorado State University. He has a heart for missions and the local church, which has led him to serve in Kolkata, India, various cities in Mexico, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, as well as a year of living in China while teaching English. Adam also teaches a Sunday school class for a young families class at his church, mentors a group of college age men, and is very active in sports and the Waco community. He is married to Emily and they have three daughters, Gianna, Selah, and Kaiya.
