Assistant Director, Young Grads and Online Communities

The Baylor Young Grads' Network seeks to keep young alumni engaged with the Baylor family. Through various programs and social events such as Third Thursday mixers, Aftermurals and community service events, the Young Grads' Network connects young alumni who are eager to stay in touch and involved with Baylor.

Derek StephensDerek also coordinates the Network's innovative online communities. Virtual networks like Baylor inCircle allow graduates from across the globe to remain connected and involved with their classmates or others who share common interests.

Prior to joining Baylor's Network team, Derek was employed by Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District, where he served as Communications Specialist. Derek graduated from Baylor in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. He is married to Lauren Reed Stephens (BS '04) and lives in McKinney, Texas.
