Description	Pia Orrenius joined the Baylor faculty in 2008. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and bachelor degrees in Economics and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She teaches managerial economics in the Dallas EMBA program. Dr. Orrenius is also Research Officer and Senior Economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. As a manager in the regional group, she heads up the Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey and is executive editor of Southwest Economy.
