Baylor Flute Studio

The Baylor Flute Studio attracts dynamic flutists committed to realizing their potential as musicians, teachers, and performers. Each Baylor Flutist has the opportunity for weekly private study with Dr. Francesca Arnone; weekly flute studio activities affording performance opportunities, flute ensemble participation, and a curriculum of topics dedicated to maximizing flute studies in a group setting; and weekly woodwind recital hour performance classes. Core to the instrumental program of study is Baylor's chamber music component, providing students the unique opportunities of weekly coached ensembles, independent student rehearsals, and student performances throughout the semester. The Flute Studio also enjoys hosting guest artist recitals and masterclasses from flutists and musicians from around the country. Baylor has a long tradition of presenting the world's most distinguished artists, including Marcel Moyse, Paula Robison, Robert Dick, Jeanne Baxtresser, William Bennett, and Jill Felber.
