Welcome! The Baylor School of Music Percussion Department is a comprehensive center of percussion study offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in music performance and music education. The program focuses on intensive training in solo percussion performance, orchestral percussion, chamber music, and drum set studies. The department attracts gifted young percussionists from the United States and abroad who go on to become the next generation of professional performers, educators, and musical citizens. Dedicated to blending the development and application of our percussive craft, the department promotes an entrepreneurial approach to music study that prepares our students for innovative and creative professional careers.
