Charlotte Daniel serves as Lecturer of Flute at Baylor University, where she also coaches chamber music, is a member of the Baylor Faculty Wind Quintet, and performs as principal flutist of the Waco Symphony Orchestra. With the Austin-based wind quintet QuinTexas, she claimed the Silver Medal in the 2016 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, the Coleman-Saunderson Prize for Winds, Brass, and Percussion at the 2015 Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition, and has been featured in recital series and educational programming produced by the Austin Chamber Music Center. Dr. Daniel has held summer positions teaching at The University of Texas at Austin’s Longhorn Music Camps, the University of Michigan's MPULSE Performing Arts Institute, has performed in summer orchestral programs to include the Brevard, Bayview, and National Music Festivals, and serves as third flute/piccoloist of the Round Rock Symphony. Dr. Daniel received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin, Master of Music degrees from the University of Michigan, and her Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma State University. Her primary teachers include Marianne Gedigian, Amy Porter and Dr. Conor Nelson.
