Vocal Studies

The Division of Vocal Studies is committed to excellence in all facets of our curriculum including private vocal instruction, vocal repertoire, pedagogy, and diction. Students majoring in voice and pursuing the Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education, or Bachelor of Church Music degree will study with a full-time member of the voice faculty, not with a graduate teaching assistant, and will be considered equally for scholarship awards and performance opportunities. Members of the voice faculty are active performers and scholars and are dedicated to instilling those attributes in each of our students. Students graduating from our program have gone on to pursue further study at other top universities and conservatories; have demonstrated success in professional operatic, concert, and musical theater venues; and hold positions as music educators and church musicians at fine institutions throughout the country.
