Courtney FaulknerAdministrative Assistant for the Keyboard Division
Courtney Faulkner serves as the Administrative Assistant in the Keyboard Division in The School of Music. Mrs. Faulkner began her career at Baylor as an Administrative Assistant in the University Press. Prior to coming to Baylor, Courtney worked for the City of Robinson, Texas for 4 years as the Code Enforcement Officer and worked closely with the Building Official overseeing residential and commercial building inspections. Courtney is an active leader in the children’s music department at Meadowbrook Baptist Church where she attends with her husband who is the Worship Leader and Youth Minister. Courtney comes from a very musical family and uses that background to enhance her role not only at work, but in her personal life as well. She has studied Elementary Education at MCC through the University of Texas at Arlington and plans to continue her education at Baylor University in the future.
Her responsibilities include: answering phones, all correspondence for the Keyboard Division, maintaining databases, and mailing out brochures about summer camps and conferences. Courtney is the contact person for the following events: Summer Piano Institute, Baylor/Waco Piano Institute, Mid-Winter Organ Conference, Pipe Organ Encounter for students, Pipe Organ Encounter+ for adults, and Summer Organ Institute. She is responsible for putting together the Keyboard Division handbook and preparing recruitment packets for prospective students. Once teachers are assigned, Courtney is responsible for processing and posting the teacher assignments and jury schedules each semester.
