Venezuelan-born cellist and Baylor alumnus Arístides Rivas, who teaches at New England Conservatory and plays occasionally with the Boston Ballet, chamber orchestras, jazz great Pacquito D'Rivera, and up-and-coming jazz protégé Julian Lage, says musicians are all about collaboration.
