Dr. MICHAEL ALEXANDER, is the Associate Professor of String Music Education at Baylor University. His duties include supervising string student teachers, instruction in classroom string pedagogy, directing the Baylor String Project, and conducting the Baylor Campus Orchestra. Dr. MICHELE HENRY is Associate Professor of Choral Music Education and director of the Women's Choir. She holds the Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Minnesota. Dr. William "Will" Vernon May, Jr. has served as Dean of the School of Music at Baylor University since 2000. Prior to his appointment at Baylor he was Interim Dean of the University of North Texas College of Music, Denton. A native of Louisville, Mississippi, Dr. May received his B.M.E. degree from Baylor University, Waco, TX, in 1969 and his M.M.E. degree from North Texas State University in 1975. Paula McKay Hoover
PAULA McKAY HOOVER is a public school elementary music specialist with over twenty years of teaching experience. She has served as a part-time lecturer for the music education division since 1995. Mrs. Hoover holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and Church Music from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. Further study includes graduate work in music education at Baylor University and completion of Levels I & II in Orff-Schulwerk. She was honored as the "Elementary Teacher of the Year" for Texas Region XII in 1992.
