AsianFest Culture Show and Banquet
The purpose of AsianFest is to promote Asian cultural awareness on Baylor's campus. The Culture Show showcases various student organizations through different performances ranging from modern to traditional acts as seen through dance, music, and fashion. A scholarship pageant, Miss AsianFest, also takes place at the Culture Show, featuring representatives from various Asian student groups.
AsianFest Banquet is the night after the culture show. Food is served to all guests and will feature a prominent member of the Asian community as the keynote speaker in order to help promote cultural awareness as well as to discuss the position of Asian-Americans in today's society. The winner of the Miss AsianFest pageant will also be announced at the banquet.
