Most offices, classrooms, and meeting rooms of the department are in historic Old Main and in the adjoining Draper Academic Building. Over 4000 square feet of the Draper is taken up by the Language Acquisition Center, a state-of-the-art, computer based laboratory for language acquisition. The audio and video materials available in the LAC represent a major departmental resource. The department collection of books and magazines, housed in the student meeting rooms of Old Main, supplements the extensive foreign language holdings of Moody Memorial Library.
