Baylor Student wins Medical Humanities Essay Contest

Ms. Holly Held from Baylor University, Biology Major and Medical Humanities Minor, was notified Wednesday, May 21, 2008, her submission to the Undergraduate College Oslerian Medical Humanities Essay Contest has been selected for the cash prize of $500 and an expense paid trip to the University of Texas Medical Branch for presentation at the Osler Society Club meeting on August 19th, 2008. This notice was sent from Michael H. Malloy, M.D., M.S., Professor Assistant Dean for the Osler Student Societies-Division of Neonatology/Department of Pediatrics of University of Texas Medical Branch. The Medical Humanities Office would like to congratulate Ms. Held and wish her the very best on this deserving award!
