Medical Humanities as a Major!

June 13, 2006

It is with great pride and excitement that we announce that a new interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts in Medical Humanities was given final approval by President Lilley in May. It will go into effect in the fall semester, 2006 and brings us immediately into the forefront of undergraduate medical education. Our program is gaining regional and national attention, and a newly formed advisory board consisting of medical school faculty and administrators will be working with Dr. Marcum and Dr. Attas to continue to evaluate and shape the future of our program. You may contact either Dr. Attas (Michael_Attas@baylor.edu) or Dr. Marcum (James_Marcum@baylor.edu) for information or academic advisement.
