Internships – Students in Baylor’s pre-healthcare program have an opportunity to participate in an internship program with a local physician.
Missions – Through the Lilly Foundation Grant, students have gone to foreign medical mission trips, providing students with exposure to life changing experiences in third world healthcare.
Retreat – Medical Humanities has an annual retreat in the fall or spring semester for students in a pre-healthcare program. Baylor University Students and nationally known speakers and faculty, attend different Camp sites, to spend a weekend fellowshipping, relaxing, learning, and reflecting on their pre-health care journey.
Speaker series - These are national well-known speakers with a background in health care and Christian formation dialogue about issues of common concern and for entertainment, usually a local physician/bluegrass singer which everyone enjoys.
Clubs - The Christian Health Care Society, a service club to explore the relationship between Christianity and healthcare vocations; and BU MEDS (BU Medical Ethics Discussion Society), a club designed to explore various topics of biomedical ethics in contemporary culture.
