Substitute Teachers Conference Set for Jan. 20

January 19, 1996

Baylor University and the Education Service Center Region 12 will sponsor a conference for substitute teachers from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Draper Building on the Baylor campus. Registration will be in the lobby of Draper outside Room 152.
The conference is designed to bring together substitutes and successful teachers to share ideas and strategies that work in the classroom.
It is the goal of both Baylor and Region 12 to prepare well-trained, confident substitutes to ensure that quality instruction remains intact in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
The on-site registration fee is $10 per person.
