President Sloan to Speak at Chapel-Forum Jan. 22

Baylor University President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will speak during Chapel-Forum at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, in Waco Hall.
Students will have the opportunity to ask Sloan questions on a variety of topics.
Sloan earned a bachelors of arts degree from Baylor in 1970 and a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He also earned a Doktor der Theologie degree from the University of Basel, Switzerland. He became the first holder of The George W. Truett Chair in Evangelism in 1990 and in 1993 was appointed the founding dean of Baylor's George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
Sloan has held positions as pastor or interim pastor at more than 20 churches in Texas, Oklahoma, New Jersey and in Germany. He is the author of two books and has published more than 50 articles and chapters in books.
