A worship service honoring the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, at Miller Chapel in the Tidwell Bible Building on the Baylor University campus.

A rally and candlelight march will precede the service, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Speight Plaza at Fourth Street and Speight Avenue and concluding at Miller Chapel. The public is invited.

The events are a collaboration of the Baylor School of Social Work, George W. Truett Theological Seminary and the Baylor religion department.

The Rev. Jimmy Hunter, pastor Toliver Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, will lead the worship service, which is titled "Martin Luther King Jr.: Remembering the Visionary, Living into the Dream."

A reception will be held immediately after the service at the Bobo Spiritual Life Center on campus.
