Baylor University alumna Jane Hampton Cook, author of B is for Baylor, will be on campus Friday, Oct. 22, and Saturday, Oct. 23, selling and signing copies of her book.
Cook will have a tent set up from 6 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, during the Extravaganza and Bonfire in Fountain Mall and immediately after the parade on Saturday, Oct. 23 outside, of Baylor Bookstore.
B is for Baylor, written by Cook (BA '92) and illustrated by Erin Dobbins (BA '09), is designed to teach toddling future graduates not only the alphabet but also the history and traditions of Baylor. Written with an eye towards both children and their parents, readers follow a curious bear cub on his adventure through the Baylor campus, exploring from A to Z the traditions, history and landmarks cherished by all Baylor Bears.
The book is printed by Baylor University Press on the Big Bear Books imprint and is available through BU Press, the Baylor Bookstore or retailers such as Amazon.com.
The Baylor Bookstore is located at 1201 S. Fifth St.
