Reception for President Robert B. Sloan Jr. Set for Aug. 27
WACO, Texas-A community reception for Baylor University President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, in the Brazos Room of the Waco Convention Center. It will be the first opportunity for the Waco community to meet President Sloan.
The reception is free and open to Waco and the surrounding community. Refreshments will be provided, and the event will be informal.
Sponsored by Baylor University, the reception is co-hosted by several local leaders in business, education, medicine, religion,and politics.
Sloan became the 12th president of the University on June 1.
