June 25, 2003

The following information was released by Baylor University athletics media relations on June 25.

WACO, Texas - The Waco Police Department issued a news release Wednesday asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Baylor men's basketball player Patrick Dennehy to contact their office at (254) 750-7500. He has not been seen or heard from since June 11.
Dennehy, a 6-10 junior center from Santa Clara, Calif., sat out last season after transferring from New Mexico.
"It's unusual for our staff to go more than a couple days without being in touch with one of our players," head men's basketball coach Dave Bliss said, "so obviously we are concerned about Patrick.
"Patrick is an outgoing, friendly guy who always has a smile on his face. We look forward to him contributing a great deal this year."
Dennehy is expected to vie for playing time at center this fall. He was named honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference as a sophomore at New Mexico in 2001-02 after averaging 10.6 points and 7.5 rebounds.
