11:34 a.m., Feb. 23 - Baylor Closes Campus at 2 p.m.

Due to worsening weather conditions, Baylor University will close the campus today (Feb. 23) at 2 p.m. While the university does not presently anticipate any disruption to regular business operations or class schedules tomorrow, Baylor officials will continue to monitor the weather during the overnight hours and make a decision accordingly. Please continue to monitor the Baylor web site, as well as your Baylor email account and local radio and television stations for more information. In addition, a recorded message on the university's status will be available at (254) 710-4411.

Please be aware that closing the university will affect the operations of some university facilities, such as libraries, some academic buildings and the McLane Student Life Center. However, campus dining facilities will continue to operate as usual. The McLane Student Life Center will remain open until 8 p.m.

The campus closure also means Baylor Law School classes scheduled after 2 p.m. today will be canceled. However, the Texas State Bar Exam, also currently being administered in the law school, will continue as scheduled.
