After Dark 2009 to Showcase Baylor Talent

WACO, Texas - After Dark, an annual variety show, will feature talented students from Baylor University on Friday, Sept. 18, with performances at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. in Waco Hall.
After Dark has been part of Baylor's Parents Weekend for more than 20 years. It features song, dance, stand-up comedy and musical theater. Tickets are $14 for seats in the center section, $12 for seats in the side sections and $10 for seats in the balcony.
Tickets may be purchased on line, by phone at (254) 710-3210 or at the Waco Hall box office at the intersection of Seventh Street and James Avenue.
There will be 17 feature performances during After Dark:
Baylor Showtime performing "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast.
Brin Beaver, acoustic guitarist and vocalist, performing an original worship song.
Baylor Twirler Danae Couch
Country band performing Alison Krauss's "Restless."
Guitarist Samuel Pomeroy performing "orchestra."
Singer Anthony Carillo performing a musical theater song.
Singer Haley Barnes and Jacob Hooter performing on their ukuleles.
INTERMISSION
Good Times Family Band.
Singer/guitarist Jarrod Mathis performing Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely."
Pianist Egle Uljas performing "Flight of the Bumble Bee."
Musical theater duet of "All I ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera, performed by Philip Skinner and Debbie Hernandez.
Singer/guitarist Rebecca Harris performing version of Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love."
Cello Ensemble, performing Coldplay's "Viva la Vida."
Ryan Brinson, Garrett Burnett and Lisa Sorenson, a cappella trio, performing medley of hymns.
Vocalist/pianist David Collins performing Whitney Houston's "I Turn to You."
