November 6, 2003

by Marianne May, student writer

The Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, in the lobby of the North End Zone Complex at Floyd Casey Stadium. The drive will be held for Daniel Blumrick, a Baylor University student who was critically injured in a motorcycle accident near campus Oct. 30.
Blumrick, a Sugar Land senior, is a student worker with Baylor Athletic Media Relations, the sponsor of the drive. Blumrick is in need of type AB-negative blood, but the Red Cross has requested donations from people of all blood types.
