Baylor To Thank Waco, Central Texas With Free Heart of Texas Community Tailgate

In appreciation for the ongoing support of the Waco and Central Texas communities, Baylor University will host a free event for families Saturday, April 25, at Baylor Ballpark.

The Heart of Texas Community Tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. with free inflatables, carnival games and lunch at Baylor Ballpark. The event also will include free general admission tickets, while supplies last, to the Baylor vs. Oklahoma baseball game. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.

"Baylor University appreciates Central Texans for their support throughout the year and welcomes friends and neighbors to campus for a day of food and fun," said Jana L. Hixson, director of community relations at Baylor.
