Baylor Theatre to Host a Broadway Valentine's Celebration

Baylor University's theatre department will add a musical touch to the romantic Valentine's holiday by hosting the "Marcy and Zina Show," a musical medley of songs written and sung by the duo.
The show will be at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Jones Theatre in the Hooper Schaefer Fine Arts Center on the Baylor campus.
Broadway songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will perform their greatest hits as part of Baylor Theatre's Broadway Concert Series. Featured songs include "Taylor the Latte Boy" and "Alto's Lament."
Goldrich and Heisler co-authored the family musicals Dear Edwina and Dear Edwina Junior. They have appeared at Carnegie Recital Hall, The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage and The Ford Center of the Performing Arts.
Ticket prices are $25 per person or two tickets for $40. Ticket proceeds will support the Patrick Cook Endowed Scholarship Fund. Cook was a former theatre faculty member.
