The Baylor University School of Music will host the annual Combined Choirs Christmas Concert, also known as "Christmas at Baylor," at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, in Jones Concert Hall in the Glennis McCrary Music Building on the Baylor campus.

The combined choirs include the Women's Choir, Men's Choir, A Cappella Choir, and the Concert Choir. The program will feature sacred carols, but also popular standards and spirituals as well.

The concert is presented each year on the first Friday and Saturday of December.

According to Richard Veit, concert and promotions manager for the Baylor School of Music, the true spirit of Christmas is captured by the singers, who this year will be joined on stage by the Baylor Symphony Orchestra.

"The Combined Choirs Christmas Concert is a long-standing Baylor tradition, featuring the majestic sound of massed choirs," Veit said. "Many people tell us that it does not seem like Christmas until they have attended this concert."

Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the box office in Glennis McCrary Music Building. For additional information, call at (254) 710-3571 or go online at www.baylor.edu/music, then click on concert information.
