Baylor Community Invited to "TestDrive" Emerging Technologies in Moody Library

February 20, 2008

Baylor University Libraries and Information Technology Services have unveiled "TestDrive," a new feature which allows Baylor students, faculty and staff to test some of the latest technologies.

TestDrive currently features two trimline devices - the HP 2710p Tablet and the Dell XPS M1330 Notebook - and will feature more devices as the display develops. The display is located on the first floor of Moody Library near the Circulation Desk.

TestDrive grew out of the desire of Baylor's technology vendors to preview newly released models and receive user feedback. The Moody Library display provides this opportunity to the vendors while allowing the Baylor community to experience the next wave of technology. TestDrive will be a revolving display featuring new devices as our vendors provide them to us.
