Texas Supreme Court Reflects on Former Justice, Baylor Law School Dean; Hears Arguments in Two Cases

December 6, 2007

The Texas Supreme Court convened Dec. 6 at Baylor Law School for the third time in the court's modern history. Before the nine Justices heard arguments in two cases, Baylor Law School Dean Brad Toben and others paid tribute to the life and career of the late Texas Supreme Court Justice and former Baylor Law School Dean Charles W. Barrow, who died June 25, 2006.
The two cases before the court were United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. v. Louis Goudeau from Harris County and the First District Court of Appeals, Houston, and Del Lago Partners Inc., et al. v. Bradley Smith from Montgomery County and the 10th District Court of Appeals, Waco. For more information about the cases, click here.
