Baylor Closed Sept. 3 for Labor Day Holiday

Baylor University administrative offices will be closed and no classes will be held Monday, Sept. 3, as the university observes the Labor Day holiday.

The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open on Labor Day during normal hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The McLane Student Life Center will be open on Sunday, Sept. 2, and Monday, Sept. 3, from 1 p.m. to midnight. The pharmacy will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, and reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library will be open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and closed Monday. Moody and Jones libraries will reopen Tuesday at 7 a.m. The Armstrong Browning Library will close at noon on Saturday and will reopen Tuesday at 9 a.m. The Texas Collection and Collection of Political Materials will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday at 8:15 a.m.

The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The second and third floors of the Bill Daniel Student Center will close at 10:30 p.m. Friday and will remain closed through Monday. The first floor will be open Saturday and Sunday, but will be closed on Monday.

Chili's Too and Starbucks in the Dutton Avenue parking garage will maintain normal operating hours during the holiday.

The Marina Rec Center and Wiethorn Visitors Center also will be closed on Monday.

Residence Halls will remain open all weekend.
