From the lighted spires of Old Main to the smiling faces of preschoolers at Santa's Workshop, the Christmas spirit is alive and well on the Baylor University campus.

Baylor's continued its latest holiday tradition on Dec. 5 with "Christmas on Fifth Street." The campus was transformed on that chilly evening into a winter wonderland, complete with more than 12,000 bright lights outlining the buildings along Fifth Street, hot chocolate and wassail, Christmas carolers and the annual Kappa Omega Tau Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

More than 800 Waco-area preschoolers took part in the 10th annual Santa's Workshop on Dec. 6 at the McLane Student Life Center. Santa's Workshop is sponsored each year by ARAMARK, the office of student activities and Baylor staff council, and promotes interaction between Baylor and the Waco community by spreading holiday cheer to area children.
