Jan. 15 'Sic 'Em Day' Cancelled

Due to weather conditions in the surrounding areas and the forecast for Waco tonight and Monday, the Sic 'Em Day Recruitment Event scheduled for Monday, Jan. 15 has been cancelled. For more information, go to Baylor admissions website

Baylor Campus Visits will host prospective students and their families for Sic 'Em Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15. Approximately 125 students are expected to visit.

"Sic 'Em Day allows students and their families to visit on a holiday and look at what life at Baylor could be like for them should they choose to attend BU," said Kevin Kirk, director of Campus Visits.

Students and families who participated in previous Sic 'Em Day events enjoyed the personal attention they received from staff and Baylor students, Kirk said.

The schedule begins with a walking tour of campus followed by lunch in Penland Residence Hall. After lunch, students will attend academic presentations by Baylor faculty and meet with Baylor admissions counselors and current Baylor students, according to Kirk.

The Campus Visits Office will host additional Sic 'Em Days on March 12 and March 16. Registration will be available for the events two months in advance.
