Lila McDowell, a senior Spanish literature and linguistics major from Gladewater, was crowned Baylor University's Homecoming Queen at Thursday night's Pigskin Revue.

McDowell, the nominee for Alpha Chi Honor Society, is the daughter of Dr. James and Mary McDowell.

The Homecoming Queen and Court - McDowell, Catherine Cutbirth of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Laura Henry of Student Foundation, Ruthie Lobb of Delta Delta Delta and Amy Louis of Chi Omega - will be featured in the Homecoming parade on Oct. 26.

Cutbirth is a senior economics/corporate communications major from Waco. She is the daughter of Steve and Sharron Cutbirth.

Henry is a senior economics/international business major from Spring. She is the daughter of Sam and Rebecca Henry.

Lobb is a senior child and family studies major from Irving. She is the daughter of Chuck and Lisa Lobb.

Louis is a senior elementary education major from Katy. She is the daughter of Greg and Sandy Louis.
