Herbert H. Reynolds Awards To Be Presented Oct. 26

The Herbert H. Reynolds Awards for exemplary service will be presented immediately prior to Baylor University's Homecoming football game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Floyd Casey Stadium.
The award, established by the 1981 senior class, honors distinguished individuals who have added to the heritage and tradition of Baylor through service and dedication to students. The award is named for Dr. Herbert H. Reynolds, Baylor's president emeritus.
Dr. Martha Lou Scott, dean for campus life and chair of the award committee, and Dr. David E. Pennington, professor of chemistry and a member of the award committee, will present the award to Dr. Thelma L. Cooper, assistant professor of piano; Dr. William F. Cooper, professor of philosophy; Dr. Frauke A. Harvey, professor and director of German, Russian and Japanese; Dr.Virgil L. Tweedie, professor emeritus of chemistry; and to the family of Professor Lucille W. Brigham, associate professor of math, who died in August.
Brigham's children - Mary Sue Hayward, Shari Lynn Wilfong and John Brigham - will accept the award in her memory.
