Baylor University Theatre will present "She Loves Me," a perennial audience favorite in theaters around the world, in Jones Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26-28 and Oct. 4-5. Two matinee performances will take place at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and Oct. 6.
"She Loves Me," based on a play by Milos Laszlo, was written by Joe Masteroff with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. The musical is a tender love story that incorporates charming characters and a 'melody-drenched' score. It recalls the charm of the musical theater's golden age with a story of boy-meets-girl, boy-hates-girl, boy-falls-in-love-with-girl.
Steven Walters and Julie Davis play Georg Nowack and Amalia Balash, the two main characters. Also featured in "She Loves Me" are Rhett Henckel, Daren Butler, Alison Tolman, Erik Archilla and Matt Brannon.
The cost of tickets is $15. Discount are available for Baylor faculty, staff and students and groups of 10 or more.
