Economic Forecast Conference Scheduled For Oct. 10

The 2003 Economic Forecast Conference sponsored by Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business and Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce will be held at the Galloway Suite at Baylor's Floyd Casey Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 10.
The 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. program will feature five speakers who will address economic strategies for the coming year. They include Dr. Thomas M. Kelly, professor of economics and director of Baylor's Center for Business and Economic Research, who will give the Central Texas forecast, and Dr. Ray Perryman, president of The Perryman Group, who will focus on the national and Texas forecast.
Camille D. Miller, president and CEO of the Texas Institute for Health Policy Research, will speak on the topic, "Health Care Costs -- What Is the Future?"
Also, Zachary Karabell, vice president, senior economic analyst and futurist for Fred Alger Management Inc., will discuss "Investment Prospects for 2003 and Beyond." Rick Wilborn, chair of the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce board of directors, also will be among the program participants.
