International Musicians Meet For Waco Performance Sept. 9

Violinist Eka Gogichashvili and Pianist Wolfgang Watzinger will perform a recital at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, in Roxy Grove Hall on the Baylor University campus.
Gogichashvili, assistant professor of violin at Baylor, studied her instrument under the old regime of the Soviet Union.
Watzinger was born in Germany but undertook his musical studies in Austria, where he now serves as professor of piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
The duo will perform Sergei Prokofieff's Violin Sonata No. 1 and Franz Schubert's towering Duo in A major and Claude Debussy's Violin Sonata and Maurice Ravel's exotic Tzigane.
The recital is free and open to the public.
