BU'S Golden Wave Band To Hold Scholarship Benefit Concert Nov. 18

Baylor University's Golden Wave Marching Band will play highlights from this season's halftime shows, as well as traditional Baylor favorites, during the band's annual scholarship benefit concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the Ferrell Center.
The 260-member band will perform with approximately 130 high school musicians from across the state who will join the band for Saturday's game against Oklahoma State. The combined bands will play various styles of music, including Gershwin, swing, Latin jazz and patriotic tunes.
Tickets are $5 for general admission, $10 for premium seating and $100 for patron seating and are available at the Bill Daniel Student Center ticket office. Tickets also can be purchased by phone at (254) 710-3210. Baylor fans are encouraged to buy additional tickets to donate to local children's groups.
