Baylor Hours To Change For Thanksgiving Holidays

Due to the Thanksgiving holidays, Baylor University facilities will alter operating hours for many of its facilities and offices. Baylor administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Sunday, Nov. 27.

All residence halls, except for The Arbors, Baylor Plaza and the North Village, will close at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and re-open at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Baylor Libraries will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The libraries will be closed Nov. 24-25. They will re-open on Saturday, Nov. 26, with modified hours of noon to 5 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 27, normal operating hours will resume.

Baylor Dining Services also will adjust their hours to better serve the needs of the campus. Collins Café, Penland Food Court, RFoC @ Memorial, the Atrium Café, C3 at Speight Parking Garage, Discovery Café, Java City, Seasons 3:1 and The Bear Food Court will all close at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22,and will be closed Wednesday through Sunday. The retail dining hours for Chili's Too @ BU will have regular operating hours all week, except Thursday when it will be closed. Hours for the Starbucks at Dutton Avenue Parking Facility will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, closed on Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.

The first and lower floors of the Bill Daniel Student Center will be open Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, and closed on Wednesday through Friday. On Saturday, those areas will be open from 6:30 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. The second and third floors will be open from 7 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday and closed Wednesday through Sunday.

The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, closed Wednesday through Saturday, and will re-open from 4 p.m. to midnight on Sunday.

The Baylor Bookstore and the Wiethorn Visitors' Center will be closed Wednesday-Sunday.
