The Herbert H. Reynolds Awards for Exemplary Service were presented to five individuals during halftime of Baylor University's Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Floyd Casey Stadium.
Recipients of the 2005 Reynolds Awards are Dr. Herbert and Mary Ila Colvin of Waco, Dr. Will and Mary Long of Belton, and Dr. Daniel B. McGee of Waco.
The award, established by the 1981 senior class, honors those who have distinguished themselves by adding to the heritage and tradition of Baylor through service and dedication to students. The award is named for Dr. Herbert H. Reynolds, Baylor's president emeritus.
The awards were presented by awards committee members, Dr. Martha Lou Scott, associate vice president for student life, and Dr. David E. Pennington, professor of chemistry.
