Due to an 11:30 a.m. kickoff this Saturday between Baylor and Texas Tech, the annual Baylor Homecoming Parade will start earlier with a shortened route.

The parade will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday in downtown Waco and arrive on campus at 8 a.m. The parade route will begin at Eighth and Austin avenues, instead of 11th and Austin.

The parade also will be broadcast live beginning at 8 a.m. on KWBU-TV Ch. 34 (cable channel 4) and streamed live on the Internet at BaylorTV.com. Kim Mulkey-Robertson, coach of the national champion Baylor Lady Bears basketball team, will serve as grand marshal. Polly Anderson and Jessica Denk will provide parade commentary.

The football game will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Floyd Casey Stadium and will be nationally broadcast on Fox Sports Net.
