Battle Of The Bands To Take Place On Campus Sept. 8

"A Place 2BU" weekend events at Baylor University continue Saturday, Sept. 8, with the "Fifth Quarter on Fifth Street" from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Fountain Mall on the Baylor campus.
"Fifth Quarter on Fifth Street" showcases Baylor student-formed bands in a live music venue. The bands, judged by a panel of disc jockeys, will battle for $1,000 in prize money. There will be free pizza from local establishments, and students will be able to vote who has the best pizza at BU.
A collaborative effort of various campus involvement groups, "A Place 2BU" provides a variety of events for Baylor students primarily on the weekends through November.
