Music Camps Tune Up On Baylor Campus

Six junior high- and high school-level music camps will begin on June 3 at Baylor University. Week-long band camps will feature a mixture of individual and ensemble instruction, private lessons and master classes.
In addition, an organ institute and a piano institute will be offered for solo instruction. Baylor music school staff and Waco music teachers will provide instruction for the camps.
Each camp begins on a Sunday and culminates with camp-wide concerts on Saturday. Musicians range in experience and age and will include incoming seventh-graders to high school seniors.
The following is a list of dates for each camp:
High school band and orchestra: June 3-9
Junior high string orchestra: June 10-16
High school string quartet: June 10-16
Summer Organ Institute: June 10-16
Junior high band camp: June 17-23
Summer Piano Institute: June 17-23
