Stafford Resident Named Baylor Round Up Editor

WACO, Texas - Elizabeth N. Montello, a Stafford resident and junior University Scholar at Baylor University, has been named editor of The Baylor Round Up, the university's student yearbook, for the 2000-2001 academic year. As editor, she will receive the Taylor/Anderson scholarship, which is a full tuition scholarship awarded to The Round Up editor annually by Taylor Publishing Co. in Dallas and Jim and Anne Anderson of Austin.
Montello is the daughter of Deedee Montello of Cypress and Anthony Montello of Houston and the granddaughter of Irene LaFonck and Steve and Carol Montello, all of Houston.
Montello is a 1998 graduate of Dulles High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She has been involved in the production of The Round Up since her freshman year at Baylor and served as photo editor during the 2000-2001 academic year.
Montello is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, Alpha Chi honor society, Psi Chi psychology honor society and Alpha Lambda Delta honor fraternity and volunteers her time as a Best Buddy, a program that pairs Baylor students with mentally and physically challenged persons in McLennan County.
