Men's Glee Club To Perform April 10 At Baylor

The Men's Glee Club will present its annual spring concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, in Jones Concert Hall on the Baylor University campus.
This 42-voice choral group is conducted by Randall Bradley, professor of church music and director of the church music program. Their Baylor appearance will follow a concert tour in Austin, San Marcos and San Antonio.
The program will feature such sacred pieces as George Frideric Handel's "Praise the Lord," Randall Thompson's "The God Who Gave Us Live" and Wendell Whalum's arrangement of "Betelehemu."
There concert also will feature a set of familiar gospel tunes, such as "It Is Well with My Soul" and "We Shall Walk Through the Valley," plus a gospel medley arranged by Baylor's senior lecturer in academic studies, Douglas Claybrook.
Among the folk songs to be heard are "She Moved Through the Fair," "Hol' You Han'," "Seeing Nellie Home," "Cindy" and "Down in the Valley."
